My nights always looked darker
People see the stars at night
But I can't
I feel lost
I see no light
Nothing sparkles in my life
So empty
Surrounded by people
But it still gets so lonely
I wanted to be found
I dreamt about it each night
I needed to see a bright light
Someone to hold
Someone to share all my thoughts
But I was so lost
At some point I lost all hope
I thought it was too late
But then I found you
Or was it you who found me
A smile so bright, it lights up my night
My own personal shining star
You make me laugh, when I want to cry
And even when you are far away
I know
That I am with you, resting in your heart
As you are always in mine
And now when my nights feel so dark
I look at you and smile
Cuze I know with you
Everything will be alright
And it made me wonder
Was it luck or destiny
That we found each other
But it doesn't really matter
Only you matter
